Mikisyo Hamono

Mikisyo Hamono is a multigenerational kogatana-making blacksmith shop in Miki, Japan. There are about 80 registered traditional craftsmen blacksmiths. There used to be dozens of kogatana blacksmiths in his town 50 years ago but now there are only two. Mr. Nagaike is one of them. His name is Hiroyuki Nagaike, born in 1939, and when calling him as a craftsman, he changes his first name to Kohsetsu, namely Kohsetsu Nagaike.
