Takeo Murata is a blacksmith from Kochi, Japan. His knives have a good reputation for quality and he uses top-shelf aogami super (AS) steel or aogami blue paper (blue #1 steel) steel for his knives, with HRC of 61-63. These knives have a nice kurouchi finish and are sold under the brand name Buho.
