Made by the skilled craftsmen of Tabata Hamono, a small blacksmith shop situated on Tanagashima Island in Kyushu's Kagoshima Prefecture, this knife is the epitome of Japanese artistry. The blacksmith calls this a short sujihiki and we're calling it a long petty. Same difference.
