4 people found this review helpfulWanted a petty to slot in between my 90mm paring and my longer 160+ mm nakiri, gyoto, bunka.Haven't been disappointed. The usual Kohetsu F and F, plus SLD - an eye-opener for me who had not regarded stainless steels as worthy cutters. Retains a good edge and is a nice size for smaller stuff like garlic, scallions. Hammered feature on blade sheds well on grippy veggies like potatoes, but has a tougher time on hard fruit (apples) because of its hefty blade thickness. I have other knives for that, however. A great addition to my knife inventory!
