Sharpal Dual-Grit Diamond Sharpening Stone wt Angle Guide, 325 / 1000 Grit
The Sharpal 168H is an 8 in x 3 in (203 x 76 mm) dual-sided diamond sharpening stone with a coarse 325 grit (45 micron) face for restoring dull or damaged edges and an extra fine 1000 grit (15 micron) face for honing to a finished, razor-sharp edge. The diamond surface is monocrystalline, electroplated for durability, and built to Sharpal MirrorFlat specifications, holding a flatness tolerance of plus or minus 0.002 in (0.05 mm) with no lapping required over time. This version ships without a storage case, on a non-slip pad instead.
The larger 8 in by 3 in surface gives more room for stabilizing the blade and tracking a consistent angle than Sharpal smaller-format stones, and it comfortably handles longer chef knives and wider tools in addition to standard kitchen knives. It pairs well with the 169H stone (220/600 grit) for a full progression from heavy repair through to a polished edge. An included Angle Pyramid guide offers four fixed reference angles, 14, 17, 20, and 25 degrees, to help maintain a consistent bevel by hand.
Use and Care Instructions: Sharpen dry or with honing oil. Do not use water on this stone.
