Nigara Silver 3 Damascus Kiritsuke 210mm is a beautiful piece of functional art.
During the early Edo Period, the city of Hirosaki was a castle town. There were over one hundred forging shops in the area. Nigara Forging is one of these historical Tsugaru blacksmith shops. The Nigara company has kept the traditional forging techniques alive and has remained committed to high-quality blade forging for centuries. This blade has a very cool distressed finish caused by acid etching. It looks like it has just come out of a charcoal fire.Maker: Nigara
