    2  Not useful, October 13, 2018

This product is not useful for inspecting knife blades. It is virtually impossible to keep in focus.

It takes a little practice but once you get the hang of it the magnifier works well. Suggestion: Use something to steady the magnifier. I use the side of a cutting board. Also put the knife on a table top so it doesn't shake in your hand.

This unit puts my loupe to shame. Much better way to see my edges. I sharpen my straight razor and it comes in handy.

Tried the MicroBright and I'm not impressed at all. The magnification and focus is fine but it's very difficult to use. The inverted image in a pain, you move up the image moves down, you move left it moves right. Any rocking/movement of the magnifier or knife and you lose focus and it's not easy to hold it flat to a knife. A loupe is much easier to use to me.

For 12 bucks you cant expect much but this thing works great! Nice sharp view with its built in LED, and it takes one AA battery instead of fooling around with AAA or other sizes.
