"Santoku" means "three virtues" in Japanese and refers to the three main uses of a santoku knife - mincing, slicing and dicing. So obviously, a great all round useful knife in any kitchen! This santoku was made by Mr. Shigeki Tanaka in Miki City, Japan, using traditional methods developed over a thousand years. It is made of super strong VG-10 stainless steel and has a delicate damascus cladding. Paired with a D-shaped ho wood handle with a buffalo horn ferrule, this santoku will be an excellent addition to your kitchen, professional or home.
