This saya was designed to fit a Medium Takeda Gyuto only, and will be too big for most other 240mm gyutos.

I got a Takeda 240 Gyuto about a year ago from CKTG and it is my most used knife. When I travel somewhere I think I will need to do kitchen work, I like to bring it. Various edge protection devices are available but they dont really work any better than rolled up newspaper.This made-to-match Saya from Takeda is perfect. the only thing that I'm concerned with is the retaining pin that is common to all Japanese Sayas and is easily lost. I found a nice replacement however.
