Tapered Saya Pin

These tapered saya pins are designed and produced by CKTG as replacement pins for our sayas and as compatible replacements for many other Japanese knife sayas. The pins are turned from birch wood with a rounded head on top for easy gripping and twisting, and a tapered post that seats progressively deeper into the hole as you push it in - the taper creates a natural, secure fit without requiring an exact size match. They are available in two finishes: painted and unfinished. The painted version is slightly more snug in the hole; the unfinished version fits more freely and accepts food-safe finishes if you want to customize the appearance or add a layer of protection.
