The Tawashi Kamenoko Kitchen Scrubber is a handmade scrub brush that was invented in Japan in 1907. It measures about 4" long and 2" thick and is bound with sturdy twisted wire with a loop for hanging to dry.
For kitchen use only. Do not use on knives or other easily scratched surfaces.
Made in Japan of palm (coconut) fiber and wire
Suitable for use on stubborn dirt and grime
Use on cutting boards, sheet pans, or to clean a stainless steel sink
Fibers will soften in water, making the scrubber perfect for cleaning root vegetables
Soak the tawashi before the first use to remove particles from the manufacturing process
Rinse and hang after use to allow to dry completely
