The Maruyoshi Mini Plating Spatula is a precision tool designed for detailed plating and fine finishing work. Its compact size and subtle offset keep your hand clear of the plate, giving you excellent visibility and control when positioning delicate components, smoothing sauces, or making final adjustments.
The narrow stainless blade offers just enough flex for finesse without feeling soft or vague. Lightweight and well balanced, this mini spatula excels at modern plating tasks where accuracy and dexterity matter most.
Care Instructions: Hand wash with mild soap and warm water and dry thoroughly after use. Avoid the dishwasher to preserve the finish and edge alignment. Store in a drawer, utensil roll, or magnetic strip to protect the blade.

I love the looks of this mini offset. As a collector of kitchen utensils, knives, books, and everything culinary I love having it in my collection. It is very unique, but I will save it’s crazy flexible. I prefer a mini offset for grilling fish and whole Branzino as supposed to a fish spat. But to be honest this thing is so flexible that I do not use it, at all. I’m not much of a baker but I feel like this offset in specific would be better for icing and just small pastry stuff. It’s just really thin and flexible to be using to transfer fish, confit tomatoes, whatever. It has a huge, very comfortable handle though and like I said beautiful. But personally I’ve had it for a year and have used it less than 5 times..
