This knife was a gift and the recipient wanted something different so I offered to trade the knife for store credit. It comes with a nice ebony octagonal handle and buffalo horn ferrule and also includes a Konosuke saya with their pin. The knife is in new condition with no patina on it. The Konosuke Fujiyama line of kitchen knives is the stuff of legend. For as long as they have been made, these knives have received universal praise for their extraordinary designs, grinds, and fit and finish. Over the years, Fujiyama knives have been hard to come by, and as a result, they are high on the lists of collectors and enthusiasts worldwide.
