- verified customerPros: Takes a very sharp edge, can push cut paper after a few passes on the 6k. Maintenance is easy, and the edge retention is good. As a home cook, my cut strength is pretty low, so I feel the need to polish the blade every so often while I am prepping a lot of food but I do not think that is necessary for most users. The handle is comfortable and a good size for many hands. Fit and finish is pretty good. I find myself chopping more than rocking with this knife, but it feels natural doing either. Cons: Food is prone to sticking possibly due to the semi mirror polish. The polish on the stainless steel cladding is easily scratched (doesn't decrease performance though). Rock chopping with this knife took adjustment due to the fine tip, the tip definitely got stuck in board a few times.Love using this knife. A definite go to.
