I used this raw, no abrasive coating, I sprayed it with .125 micron CKTG spray, I sprinkled it with aluminum oxide strop abrasive. When I added the strop abrasive to the diamond spray the blade went through the paper almost silently! This strop is SO good, buy it before it runs out. I FINALLY found a negative about CKTG. They sell so fast the stock runs out. If you find something you want, buy it right away or someone else will and you'll have to wait to re-stock the item. I love this SITE!

This stuff really is slick. It has almost zero draw, and is a firmer feel. The "almost waxy" feel is true for sure.
I would be happy to have a regular hanging razor strop made from this. I do prefer a little more draw, that is the reason for 4 stars.
