Cheap pizza wheels wobble and go dull fast. This one comes from Seki, the Japanese cutlery town where Suncraft is based, and the 75 mm wheel is cut from stainless cutlery steel rather than soft sheet metal, so it rolls through crust in one pass instead of dragging the cheese.
The wheel is mounted in a stainless ferrule on a natural wood handle with a urethane finish, about 212 mm overall. A polypropylene case snaps over the wheel so it can live in a drawer without nicking hands or other tools. Beyond pizza, it is handy for cutting pastry strips, lattice tops, and flatbreads.
Care Instructions: Hand wash and dry promptly. Do not soak the wood handle. The case is rated to 90°C, so keep it away from hot surfaces.
