The Chefknivestogo black felt knife guard is designed to fit most large gyutos up to 266mm in length. Measuring 55mm tall, or just over 2 inches, it provides secure blade coverage for storage and transport.
Crafted with a durable black plastic exterior and a soft felt-lined interior, this guard slides smoothly onto the knife to protect both the edge and the user. It helps maintain sharpness and prevents damage when knives are kept in a kitchen drawer or knife bag.
Important: Always dry knives thoroughly before placing them in the guard to prevent trapped moisture from causing rust.

This fits my Tojiro Shirogsmi 210mm gyuto perfectly. I tuck it away in the guard after every use. Have not had an issue on the edge in my time using it and helps with keeping away moisture on a high carbon steel. Will grab more either every knife purchase. Definitely the way to go for daily driven knives that don't need an expensive saya.

Fit nicely the Shibata Kotetsu AS Gyuto 240mm, protecting the whole blade. It's not as tight as others, so it doesn't feel like you're blunting it every time you put it in. I'm not a huge fan of the branding on it, so I covered it up with the Shibata sticker. I think a plain black would like nicer, but in terms of functionality, it works great!

The knife guard seems fairly well constructed. As a professional cook I've had many different knife guards. The CKTG KNIFE GUARD, is very sleeek yet durable. Was so happy w my first 1 and how it's held up I got another w my recent knife purchase. Highly recommended

I've bought similar guards off Amazon, they either are expensive individually or you have to buy a multi piece set that I don't need. These guards from CKTG are high quality and a good deal. Love the option that you can just buy the size you need for a fair price. They have good depth, I have a few Kramers and these fit them just fine.

Got to use one of these with a pass around and for under 5 bucks it works great. Holds the knife firmly but is thin and stylish. Im going to get one with every new order. Good alternative to getting a bulky more expensive saya.
