This CKTG bovine leather strop combines bark-tanned honing leather with a standard Edge Pro plate, letting you strop at your exact sharpening angle on the same system you sharpened on. The result is a mirror-polished edge produced entirely on the Edge Pro without moving to a separate stropping setup. At 1 inch x 6 inches the proportions match the Edge Pro stone format exactly.

Use the fine-grain side with or without stropping compound. Diamond spray or CBN spray loaded onto the leather will produce a more aggressive cutting action for faster edge refinement. Without compound, plain leather stropping removes the fine wire edge and aligns the apex. Always use edge-trailing strokes on a leather strop - pushing the edge forward will cut into the leather and damage the surface. Go backwards only, the same direction you would strop freehand.
