Whether working on small tasks or in small places, this MAC Superior Petty 130mm is ideal for a wide variety of tasks. Like all MAC Superior products, this knife is made using MAC's signature molybdenum vanadium stainless steel, which resists discoloration and maintains its edge as well as many higher-priced knives. Unlike many utility knives, this knife features an upswept handle to increase finger clearance when working on a board. The handle scales are made of a stabilized pakka wood handle to give the comfortable feel of wood with the durability of more modern materials. The hole in the tip of the knife is used to hang the knife when not in use, giving this handy knife an additional storage option.

Got this knife for my wife, who is not fond of large knives, but I use it as much as she does. Great for small jobs, especially the kind of jobs where want to run the knife between fingers without worrying about stabbing yourself. and probably the smallest knife that you can rock and chop with, because of the sharpness, blade geometry and clever profile with the upturned handle and rounded tip. Only issues are that the hole can snag sometimes during use, the metal is quite rust prone for stainless, and there's a small gap near the base of the handle where the blade starts to taper. I would buy again but first I'll try their other, mini santoku shaped petty.
