I picked up the kangaroo strop kit recently along with a couple of the deburring felt cubes. After I sharpened my first knife and finished with the roo strops and diamond spray and felt deburring cube I realized all my other knives were no longer sharp enough. This set is fantastic. Now every knife I own is razor sharp. Thanks for a great product

This base/strop combo is a perfect addition to a sharpening set, and ought to completely obsolete a honing rod for good knives. The base in particular is an incredibly useful tool giving just enough height for comfort and ease. It is heavy with great grip.
It has two very small, easily fixable drawbacks that led to a 4/5:
There was a small imperfection and I had to lightly hammer/scrape a small metal nib from the hole on the top. this was easy to do.
After a few uses it became apparent the CK sticker (which I actually liked) was just thick enough to leave an imprint in the strop, so I had to peel it off and wash the goo. Why not put it on bottom?

I was surprised how easy it was to get mirror polished edges using these roo strops with the diamond sprays. For my process, I use these strops after finishing on 8k Shapton Pro and am getting fantastic results.
