This handy 3-piece set of laminated cardstock blade guards is a simple, effective way to protect your knife edges during transport or storage. Lightweight but surprisingly durable, these guards slide on easily and help prevent chips, scratches, and accidental cuts when storing knives in a drawer or carrying them in a knife bag.
Designed to accommodate a range of sizes, the set works for everything from small utility knives to full-size chef’s knives up to 12" in length. They’re an inexpensive, practical solution for keeping your knives—and your fingers—safe without adding bulk to your setup.
Care Instructions: Keep guards clean and dry. Avoid excessive moisture to maintain durability. Insert knives carefully to prevent damage to the guard and edge.

I do sharpening for family and friends plus an occasional customer. I will send the knives back with these covers . Everyone loves them plus they are very reasonably priced. Thanks Mark for another nice product.

Bought one for every knife in my bag to protect them and they do their job just well! My only advice on them is error on the side of larger as oppose to smaller. If it's really too big you can saw it down, but I bought one too small for my 240 gyuto and while rolling up my knife roll the heel of the blade punctured through and cut me (note I have a cheaper cloth roll). Also my Tojiro gyuto has scratch marks on it but I believe I received it that way since my fujiwara sujihiki has none (Use both a bunch being pulled in and out of these guards). Great product in general!

These are nifty little suckers. Just durable enough to protect my beater blades, as my gyutos are fitted with sayas, and to prevent cutting through the roll I carry them in. I split one in two for my boning and paring knives, and keep the others in my roll as back up. The conversion charts are handy for those that don't have them memorized, or simply have a brain fart in the middle of a 13 hour shift. If, and when I run out, I'll buy more. They're just too cool for such a low price!
