This is certainly a fun little knife by Takeda. For all intents and purposes, the kobocho is essentially a mini-santoku with an extra tall profile. With expertly treated Aogami Super at its core, the Takeda AS Stainless kobocho can take and hold an absurdly sharp and highly acute edge. Clad in stainless steel with a kurouchi finish, this knife will be relatively easy to maintain and highly corrosion resistant. Users have a lot of fun making quick work of smaller chopping tasks with this excellent little blade. A 50/50 grind and edge coupled with an ambidextrous rosewood grip make this suitable for right- or left-handed users.
