Makoto Kurosaki forges at Takefu Village in Echizen - the older brother of Yu Kurosaki, both trained under Kato-san before Makoto made Takefu Village his permanent home. Mark visited his workshop and was one of his first international accounts, a relationship that has continued for years. His lines span SG2 Sakura Tsuchime, VG7 Ryusei, VG10 Damascus, Samidorizuki, and Coreless constructions - clean grinds, excellent geometry, and knives that consistently over-deliver for their price.
