- verified customerI needed a petty knife in my kitchen for some of the more delicate work on the line and for prep (strawberries, deveining shrimp, etc). This knife just doesn't perform very well. It maintains it's spine thickness a lot of the length through, and doesn't thin out too much before the edge either. This leads to mediocre performance on the delicate work I want to use it for. It's what you would expect a $40 knife so I shouldn't be disappointed. I would recommend the MAC 5" or 6" utility knife over this. Just drop a little more money and get a much better knife.
