I’m a professional chef and have had a knife in my hand for the better part of twenty years. I would be nervous about destroying this tool at work but for my home use it’s been great. Light,sharp,stylish and not very expensive compared to my steel knives. I’ll have to wait and see about their durability but so far i’m quite inpressed with the quaility.

I have had this knife for nearly five years with no complaints. I have never sharpened it - as you can’t with a normal steel. I have used it probably five nights a week over this time and it is still sharp. Not razor sharp as it came but still sharp for safe,normal domestic use.
Plus sides are that it is light,very very good value and versatile - I’ve use mostly on veg but also occasional meat/fish prep as you do with a Santoku.
Downsides - can’t sharpen with out special ceramic blade sharpener and relatively uninspired designed.
Perfect function,long lasting and would highly recommend.
