This HandAmerican genuine honing leather has a smooth side called the "grain" side and a rough side which is the "split" side. The grain side can be used as is or with compound and the split side can be used with dry compound. You can mount this strop leather by attaching it to a flat substrate with either spray adhesive or contact cement. Measures 6" x 12"
