1 people found this review helpfulOverall, this is a nice knife. The d-shaped handle fits very nicely into a mid-sized hand. The White No. 2 is relatively easy to sharpen took a very keen edge. Edge retention is as expected from this steel and performs well. There are a few improvements that would make it exceptional though. Out-of-the box sharpness was awful. Slicing cleanly through standard paper was a challenge. Additionally, the blade edge was not evenly ground. There was a section in the middle of the blade that was over ground by about 1mm. This issues was resolved with some work on the stones. Also, the spine was quite rough at the pinch-grip point, making cutting uncomfortable. Again, this issues was resolved with a little work. If these issues did not exist, I would have rated the knife as excellent. I did not expect this from a $260 knife. As for CKTG, the order was processed, shipped, and delivered very quickly.
