The Tojiro kitchen shears (FG-3500) are a very versatile instrument for use around the house as well as the kitchen. You can use them to cut chicken carcasses in half for making stocks or use them for more delicate tasks like snipping chives for garnish. They are equally ideal for cutting game birds and animals, herbs, flowers, and much more. The bottle opener in the center of the handle also doubles as a nut cracker.

The Tojiro kitchen shears are a sturdy utensil made from forged INOX stainless steel with a one-piece construction. They feature one straight blade and one serrated blade for cutting skin and tough meats. These shears have a plastic coating on the handle for a more comfortable grip.

Made in Japan.

    Love the old school feel, heavy weight and sharpness. From trimming fins off fresh eel to general kitchen work, these are a great tool. Only think making it better would be if they were easily separable for more through cleaning, but I understood that purchasing them

    This are great shears, I use them on lobster and crab all the time. I much prefer these to the German shears. Heavy weight and sturdy

    Great shears, but they don't come apart to sharpen blades. The more expensive Tojiro shears do come apart, otherwise they are the same.
