Sakai Takayuki is one of Sakai's most established manufacturers, with a history stretching back over 600 years. Their knives were designated traditional arts and crafts by the Japanese government in 1982. The lineup is unusually broad - carbon steels, premium stainless, Damascus constructions, and specialist single-bevel formats - making it one of the most comprehensive collections of Japanese kitchen knives we carry.
