- verified customerThe Makoto W#2 is a beautifully made, excellently ground, and well finished santoku. Very thin at the tip, and extremely sharp OOTB. Dicing onions is a breeze with the blade releasing easily. Both the Damascus cladding and the core are quickly reactive, so you can't be careless with cleaning, but this knife is going to be one of my favorites. And at such an inexpensive price!
