DaniBought this after my Salmon order came in and the fillets bought as scaled, were not. Tool works better and quicker than using the back of a chef's knife. Works 1000% better than the Asian market Sheetmetal ones that resembles a Spaghetti Server.
Pro: Hefty enough not to flex, light enough not to fatigue. Has a hole for hanging. Enough space between teeth so that it resists clogging.
Con: handle should be knurled or textured to lessen slippage.
Well worth the investment if more than two fillets need to be descaled anytime in your future.
