Posted By: HPHHI like the blade thinness, how it is perfectly straight, and the decorative pattern, but do see a few issues. The belly on mine is a bit overground so I will have to hope the rest of the blade catches up during later sharpenings. It looks odd and will likely affect the complete separation of things like green onions if I cut them with the heel.
There is also a noticeable gap between the tang and the handle even though the riveting seems decent. I can hold the handle-to-blade junction up to the light and there's at least a centimeter of space where light peeks out. Water is definitely going to get in there and possibly cause rust if I don't watch it
Overall, not a bad buy, but these couple of defects are somewhat significant to me.
