Richmond Diamond Paste .5 Micron. This contains 5 grams of mono diamond paste and will put a high grit finish on your knives and razors. This paste uses .5 micron abrasive which will give your knife a screaming sharp edge. It's ideal for use on leather, balsa, horse butt or kangaroo leather. Watch the video for a quick tutorial on how to apply the paste and how to strop. This is our most popular stropping compound on the site. Try it and you'll see why.

It gives an extremely clean polish on blades. Performance-wise it changes however nothing.

1um paste is where you should stop.

I always like products that aren't branded by big names. I think Mark R. is a big time stropper from the looks of his web site ; )
I just got some of this stuff today, and tried it on a few different substraights.
It is VERY thick, almost too thick, however my paste was shipped through -1 degree weather here in upstate NY, so perhaps it dried out a little. It is pretty easy to spread around, thinking of adding just a touch of water to it for some added moisture.
Polishes wonderfully, and works great on kangaroo strops, and standard leather. I imagine this stuff could really charge up some cardboard too!
The only real caution is to look out for putting on too much, make sure you spread this stuff as thin as possible, once it starts to dry it is very hard to remove. Worth the money, I plan to try some dia-paste next to comapare!
