What can you say about a forged F. Dick knife? Old name,solid,heavy for its size,German made - quite the equal of any Wusthof or Henkel,but often less expensive. These qualities are especially appreciated in a boning knife where a sturdiness and a good grip are essential. And although I find German knives balanced a bit to far forward for my taste,in this case weight,durability with hard use and a long-lasting edge made it the logical choice for a knife that is going to see such rough use.
