It provides the perfect length when cutting most produce or meats for home preparation. The knife is constructed from SK-5 steel and takes a scary sharp edge. The blade is attached to a Ho wood handle with a black resin ferrule. They have a kurouchi hand hammered finish and a 50/50 edge bevel.
