Introductory special save $20! Here you get excellent grinds with a really nice upgraded yew octagonal handle with buffalo horn ferrule on a stainless wa-gyuto. The blade measures 243mm and we think this will be a big hit. We had Fujiwara make these for us exclusively using their popular FKM stainless steel. This knife is a short gyuto that has a really nice and slim feel with excellent fit and finish. We think this knife is unbeatable at this great price.
i bought this knife after reading a few reviews. Very pleased with my purchase. the handel is very comfortable, and this knife is very light. Knife is very sharp and holds an edge very well and for a good while. i use this knife for everything!
it’s been more than half a year since i got this knife and it’s still as good if not better than when it came in. The blade is razor sharp and stays that way even after deboning several chickens the blade remained sharp. The handle is fairly comfortable and overall the knife is pretty light. It’s a nice starter knife to get and the price isn’t that bad at all. People always find it amazing to use and try to steal it whenever there’s tons of prep work in the kitchen.
I love this little knife!
The fit and finish is a little off. there was some glue on my blade next to the handle (nothing a set of the micro soft touch pads that CKTG offers won’t fix right up) which was really easy to fix with a high grit sand paper progression.
The blade has nice dimensions but its pretty thin. Isn’t the best for rough veg prep but its nice for slicing, dicing and doing most prep work. I would recommend this one to any cook looking to get into japanese knives and prefer to try a WA handle. I find this knife goes missing off of my work station a lot as my co workers love it and can’t believe it was so cheap!
