This sasanoha by Takeda is an excellent choice for those that enjoy the aesthetics, construction and steel used by Takeda but prefer a gyuto style knife with a little less height.
Like all of Mr. Takedaís knives that we offer, this blade is constructed with an Aogami Super core which can take and hold a highly refined and very acute edge. As the name implies, the Takeda Stainless Clad series wraps the core Aogami steel with softer layers of stainless steel to provide a great combination of fine grain carbon steel performance with the ease of maintenance associated with stainless construction. This knife is made with a 50/50 compound grind and a very tall, acute edge bevel. Takeda knives are known for their incredible thinness and light weight along with an iconic aesthetic and unique Kurouchi finish.
