A few years ago I got the bug for collecting (and using of course) Japanese knives. I have most of a set of the Tanaka Ironwood’s and to say the least they are brilliant, and along with the awesome service to a faraway island in "down under" by Mark, they have greatly impressed me.0.3
The raw beauty and craftsmanship, balance, feel, ability to take and keep a razor like edge make them a good investment that one day my daughters shall have as much pleasure in using them as I do (but not yet - keep your hands well away girls!! :) ) Invest in any of his knives and I think you shall be very happy.
