Posted By: ryanI found the pro 120 to dish faster than other shapton pros -- to be expected with any coarse stone. I also expected it to cut a bit quicker than it does. My diamond plates have it beat in that regard, however the shapton leaves a scratch pattern that is far easier to remove, taking less time between stones and allowing bigger jumps in grit. My biggest use for this stone might end up being minimizing 140 grit diamond scratches before jumping to shapton pro 320. Your results may vary. Thinning monosteel carbon is not short work, no matter what stone you throw at it.
