This knife is stainless, san mai constructed with an ATS314 on the edge and a beautiful damascus pattern on the blade. The steel has been hardened to HRC 61 and will perform better than many stainless steel blades on the market today. The edge is ground 50/50 with an octagonal handle made of maple. This line was made in Japan with my partner Yoshikane.

Fantastic blade. This is the best Richmond product I have had my hand on to date. Yoshikane did a great job on the grinds on the blades. Very nicely done Mark.

My one complaint albiet minor and something I could change is that the handle for the size of knife is way too thin. I would like to see something like the Konosuke Ebony handles on these.

My one complaint albiet minor and something I could change is that the handle for the size of knife is too small and light. I would like to see something like the Konosuke Ebony handles on these.
