We first learned of these knives from a friend. We never seemed to have a sharp knife in the house and no matter how hard I tried - I could never sharpen the knives to be really sharp. We bought our first one and could not believe how sharp it was and better yet - how it never seems to get dull. Based on this experience - I bought two more and was very pleased that they has improved on an already excellent knife. We now have 3 very sharp knives and would and do recommend these to anyone who is tired of dull knives.
