I recently received one of these knives from a friend,and I wasnít overly impressed. The edge was a bit obtuse,I guess to help stop chipping,and it didnít feel particularly sharp. However,it did cut vegetables fairly well. The handle was pretty standard. It seems the ceramic blade is a bit of hype; it wasnít sharper than my steel knives,and it didnít cut better than my steel knives. The edge might last longer,but itís not an amazing edge,and its uses are limited due to the hardness of the ceramic.
Itís not a horrible knife,but aside from the novelty factor itís nothing special.
