Kohetsu Blue #2 Shinano
The Shinano River is the longest and largest river in Japan and it travels from Nagano Prefecture to Niigata Prefecture, very close to where these excellent knives are made. This line features Blue #2 steel clad with stainless, with nice thin grinds and very nice semi-custom handles. Made to our specifications by a blacksmith shop in Sanjo City, Japan. Kohetsu loosely translates to "Be Happy" and we think once you try this knife it will put a smile on your face.
