    5  Fujiyama fantastic!, July 6, 2016

I love this little nakiri. It's so light and easy to use. The fit and finish are of the usual Konosuke standards. The looks are plain, simple and just right. No bling here thank you. The steel is well forged and takes a great edge, retention is very good too. It does react but not as badly as some other knives we own. I keep it clean and oiled so it's not a big issue. This knife makes me think of the simplicity and elegance of Japanese style. No nonsense. Clean look, great shape and perfect grind. One of my favorite daily blades. A joy to use and easy to recommend.

Out of the Box: Fit and Finish is of a high standard. Rounded and polished spine and choils. Wa handle is attached neatly.
Blade: Needed finishing to bring out its best, like all knives, but is capable from the start. Very flat and without errors.
Handle: Feels good in hand, ferrule and handle material is finished really nicely. Included Saya required some work to fit properly.
Overall: Really good value for money, a pleasure to own as a working collectable.
