Maruyoshi Knives Maruyoshi knives are made from VG-10 Steel and have an attractive damascus pattern with a western handle that is comfortable and easy to hold. The HD line of knives we are now sourching from Maryuoshi. There is a lot of confusion about this knife since it is made by Ryusen who licenses it out to many other companies. This knife is the same one being sold under the Hattori HD brand as well as the Ryusin Damascus brand. Of course Maruyoshi's stamp is on the blade.
