Toronto,CanadaThis Forschner bread knife is an absolute pleasure to use - a solid performer at an economical price. I was smiling with glee when I first used this knife, carving up a crusty baguette cleanly and effortlessly. Two strokes - once forward, once back - and the knife went through the bread like the proverbial hot butter knife through butter.

Asheville,NCThis is a great bread knife. The curve of the blade gives plenty of knuckle clearance to cut even tough artisan loaves cleanly through down to the board. The serrations are mighty sharp and close spaced, they bite into the crust assertively and don’t slip, even on crusty or seeded loaves.. It has a nice length, most straight bread knives are simply too short. It’s quite light, but rips right through most anything including sticky dough and it’s very maneuverable. Unfortunately, the curved design makes it not so good for splitting cakes, but as a bread knife it shines.

Plano,TXThey should NOT call this knife a Bread Knife. It should be called the EVERYTHING Knife. It carves turkey and beef like a dream....BTW,it does work great on bread too.

San Jose,CAHave built a reasonable knife collection over the last 20 years mainly Henkel and Wustoff 4-star or Pro full-tang forged knives. From the few knives The Forschner bread knife (all their knives I’ve tried so far) is truly an incredible value for the price. The right bite on crust, smooth action, plenty of blade. I think the reviews of Forschner are very accurate. The handle is large (designed for professional use),but even our small hands are ergonomic and secure around them. The pressed steel knives is certainly lighter than forged knives, but they are reasonable weight since the blade lengths are reasonably long (8" chef’s,10" bread knife,12" slicer,...) and they are well balanced. For the prices at this site, these are truly a bargain.

Duluth,MNIt is too soon. This is a household with occassional bread making. The knife has worked well so far. It is a bit longer than I should have ordered, but that has nothing to do with the quality of your product.
So far we are pleased. Recontact in 10 years and see if we are still using the knife.

Grand Prairie,TXI could not be more pleased with this knife.I did not realize how poorly my other serated knives cut. This knife cuts through hard crusted bread,I would like to say like butter but that is probably a stretch.I have already recommended this knife to others.

Warren,OHI am quite pleased, again, with the service from Chef Knives To Go. As usual,my order arrived in only three days. As for the Forschner Fibrox 10" bread knife,I am quite pleased with the quality and price. The handle has some texture to it,which helps with gripe, but might prove to be somewhat uncomfortable for some, but I find it quite enjoyable to use. It cuts through bread products very nicely and will be used quite often in my kitchen.
