This Forschner Chinese Cleaver features an 8" long by 3" wide stainless steel blade. Forschner kitchen knives feature high-carbon stainless steel blades which are hand finished by Victorinox in Switzerland. A special tempering process produces an edge that can be resharpened again and again. All Victorinox handles are ergonomically designed to minimize wrist tension.
You’re simply not going to find a better $30 knife. This is a solid interpretation of the classic Chinese cleaver. Good weight and balance,and it comes razor sharp right out of the box. The handle is a different shape than pictured; it has the same profile as the wooden forschner cleavers,but it still fibrox.

Great chopper for the price. If you want a cleaver for doing heavy tasks like chopping off fish head/tails the is a bargain. The cleaver steel has held up well at an 18 degree bevel per side.
The handle had some rough spots,but those were easily sanded off.

Definitely can’t complain for 30$. Very sharp right out of the box. the handle is plastic and a little light for me. Mostly just preference.

Happy with my purchase and the company. The shipment came pretty fast. I bought a cleaver. I was told that I cant find a good one if I don’t pay $100 and more.
I found it here,great quality,for us the main purpose is to cut/ break coconuts. Does wonderful job.
