Use edge trailing strokes only for this plate. Now mounted on metal and glass for dead flat performance, the 6 Micron Diamond Sharpening Plate 1X6" 3000 grit. These 1x6" diamond sharpening plates are ideal for the Edge Pro. They offer outstanding performance with dead flat precision and no variation in size as you use them. These surfaces are far more durable than aluminum oxide and silicon carbide films approaching the durability of traditional diamond lapping plates from Atoma and DMT, but available in a huge range of grits from an exceptionally coarse 150 micron or 100 grit finish to an astonishingly fine 0.1 micron or 160,000 grit finish and a continuous selection in between. We recommend you use this plate with edge trailing strokes (strop it) for best results.
